The Postbahnhof features red brick architecture with semicircular windows and steel beam construction across two large sorting halls.
Wilhelm and Walter Tuckermann designed this postal distribution center in 1907, commissioned by Berlin Oberpostdirektion to handle increasing mail volumes.
The building transformed from a mail sorting facility into an events venue, reflecting Berlin's adaptation of industrial spaces for contemporary purposes.
The facility spans 17,598 square meters and undergoes renovation to become office spaces, with completion scheduled for early 2025.
Electric locomotives operated on elevated tracks with ramps connecting to main railway lines for efficient postal distribution.
