Seeburg

Seeburg stands along the Kiel Fjord and displays early 20th-century architecture with traditional German design elements and waterfront views. The building offers three separate event rooms available for rental and provides modern facilities.

The building was inaugurated in 1910 as Germany's first student house and replaced an older structure called Richters Hof from 1783. This transition marked the beginning of a new era in student housing and meeting places at German universities.

By 2025, the renovated building will transform into a scientific showcase with co-learning spaces and exhibitions on mobility concepts. This reorientation will strengthen the location's role as a place of innovation and discussion about contemporary challenges.
