Seeburg, Student center in Kiel, Germany
The Seeburg building stands along the Kiel Fjord, featuring early 20th-century architecture with traditional German design elements and waterfront views.
Inaugurated in 1910 as Germany's first student house, the Seeburg replaced an older structure called Richters Hof that dated from 1783.
The building functions as a meeting point between university members and the public, hosting educational events and exhibitions throughout the year.
Three separate event rooms within the Seeburg remain available for rental, with access to modern facilities and support services.
By 2025, the renovated Seeburg will transform into a scientific showcase with co-learning spaces and mobility concept exhibitions.
