Rotebühlbau, Former infantry barracks in central Stuttgart, Germany
The Rotebühlbau extends along 150 meters with multiple wings and stands directly at Rotebühlplatz in the western section of Stuttgart's city center.
Constructed between 1827 and 1843 under Theodor von Landauer's direction, the building served as headquarters for two infantry regiments until World War I.
The building's courtyard holds several military memorials, including a grenadier plate, commemorative plaque, and obelisk dedicated to fallen soldiers.
The structure currently houses the Regional Finance Office and Stuttgart Tax Offices I and III, serving as a central administrative facility.
During the November Revolution of 1918, demonstrators stormed the barracks, resulting in the destruction of weapon and clothing storage facilities.
