Platja de la Fonollera

Platja de la Fonollera is a beach with fine golden sand stretching along the Mediterranean coast for about 2 kilometers. It features a typical width of around 60 meters (200 feet) and natural dunes that line the shoreline.

The area developed as a rural region from the 19th century onward, with traditional Catalan farmhouses still visible in the landscape. Evidence suggests that ancient settlements may have existed in the surrounding countryside in earlier times.
