St Mary's, High Church, Medieval Anglican church in Morpeth, England

The church structure exhibits squared stone construction with Lakeland slate roofs, featuring a west tower, nave with aisles, and decorative two-light windows.

Built around 1350, St Mary's functioned as Morpeth's primary parish church until 1846 when the Church of St James was established in the town center.

The churchyard contains the final resting place of Emily Wilding Davison, whose gravestone displays the Women's Social and Political Union slogan 'Deeds not words'.

Located on Kirkhill, approximately one mile south of Morpeth town center, the church maintains regular Anglican services and welcomes visitors throughout the year.

The church building incorporates architectural elements from multiple periods, including Transitional Early English style from the 12th century and predominant 14th-century features.
