Παπαστράτειο δημοτικό πάρκο

The Papastrateio Municipal Park spans 54,000 square meters of green space with walking paths, playgrounds, and recreational areas in Agrinio.

The Papastratos brothers purchased the land, formerly known as Lykorachia, from poet Kostas Hatzopoulos in 1919 and transformed it into a public space.

The park regularly holds theatrical performances, music concerts, and local festivals during spring and summer months in its outdoor venues.

Visitors can access multiple facilities including a refreshment stand, children's playground, and the small church of Agia Sotira within the park grounds.

The park maintains its original design from the tobacco industry family Papastratos while serving as the primary green lung of Agrinio.
