Panetolikos Stadium, Soccer stadium in Agrinio, Greece
Panetolikos Stadium is a sports facility in Agrinio with multiple stands and a natural grass pitch. The western main stand is larger, while the eastern side has a smaller capacity, with a combined seating of around 7500 spectators.
The stadium was built in 1930 with minimal facilities at first. In the 1950s it was expanded through a major donation that made a new stand on the eastern side possible.
The stadium has been the home of Panetolikos Football Club since its opening and shapes the sporting identity of the city. Supporters have cultivated their traditions here and backed their team across generations.
The stadium is located in northern Agrinio near an old hospital, right on Prousiostissis Street. It has team offices, a retail shop, and a cafe available for visitors.
During a match against Olympiacos Piraeus in 1977, more spectators packed the stadium than it was designed to hold. This event remains proof of the passionate support from the local community.
