St. Thomas's Church, Cathal Brugha Street, Anglican church in central Dublin, Ireland
The stone building stands on Cathal Brugha Street, featuring architectural elements that reflect the early 20th-century church construction methods and designs.
Architect Frederick G. Hicks designed this church, which opened in 1932 to replace the previous St. Thomas's Church destroyed by fire in 1922.
The building has accommodated multiple Christian denominations, including Orthodox, Filipino Christians, and the Anglican Igbo Speaking Community over the decades.
The church maintains regular services and stands between Findlater Place and Marlborough Street, near the center of Dublin's commercial district.
The Royal Institute of Architects Ireland awarded this church their prestigious architectural prize for the years 1932-33.
