The Chapel of San Giacomo della Marca features a single nave with three chapels on each side, decorated with riggiole flooring and marble decorations.
Built in 1504 by architect Raimo Epifanio, the chapel underwent modifications in 1811 when the Minor Friars transferred it to Naples' first viceroy Gonzalo Fernández de Córdoba.
The interior space contains numerous paintings and sculptures, including works by Pietro Bernini and frescoes by Luca Giordano depicting religious scenes.
The chapel remains part of the Santa Maria la Nova church complex and maintains regular opening hours for visitors to explore its architectural features.
The chapel houses the remains of Saint Giacomo della Marca in an ornate urn, transferred to this location around 1576.
