Naso del Liskamm

The Naso del Liskamm peak rises to 4272 meters within the Monte Rosa massif, forming a distinctive connection between the Quintino Sella and Mantova huts.

The mountain holds centuries of Alpine exploration history, with its name reflecting the influence of both Italian and German languages in this border region.

The surrounding Gressoney valley maintains strong ties to the Walser people, who settled in the region over eight centuries ago through the Teodulo pass.

Climbers typically begin their ascent from the Quintino Sella Hut, following established routes graded as PD that require technical skills for snow and ice navigation.

The summit provides access to both the Felik and Lys Glaciers, creating a natural connection point for mountaineers traversing the Monte Rosa circuit.
