Musashinomura, Amusement park in Kazo, Japan
Musashinomura is an amusement park in the city of Kazo in Saitama Prefecture, eastern Japan. The grounds contain a double-decker carousel, a Ferris wheel, and a cycling monorail that moves through the facility above ground level.
The site opened in January 1969 as a family entertainment venue in Saitama Prefecture, offering few attractions at first. The number of rides and activity areas grew steadily in the following decades.
The park includes fruit-picking areas where visitors harvest strawberries in spring, blueberries in summer, and sweet potatoes in autumn according to the season. This form of participation connects the visit to Japanese harvest customs and makes fresh produce directly accessible.
The park is open from Thursday to Tuesday and remains closed on Wednesdays. The main entrance sits near parking areas, and several pathways connect the different sections across the grounds.
The bicycle roller coaster lets visitors pedal while moving along an elevated track and viewing the grounds from above. Speed depends on the effort each rider applies when pedaling.
