守谷中央図書館, Public library in Moriya, Japan.
Moriya Central Library is a three-story building with clearly divided sections serving different users. The first floor holds children's collections, the second floor offers general materials, and the third floor contains research materials and reference works.
The library opened on May 13, 1995, and became the primary information center for Moriya City in Ibaraki Prefecture. Since its opening, it has served as the main source of information services for the local community.
The library hosts regular storytelling sessions, nutrition workshops, and photography classes that bring community members together. These programs create a gathering place where people of all ages can learn and connect.
The reading areas provide comfortable work spaces with sturdy tables and good lighting for focused study. Book collections are organized intuitively by subject, so visitors can find materials without difficulty.
The library partners with other public libraries across Ibaraki Prefecture. This lets visitors request books not available on-site and tap into a much larger network of resources.
