新登別大橋

The Shin-Noboribetsu Bridge spans 240 meters across the Noboribetsu River valley with a steel arch structure reaching 120 meters above the water.

Construction of the Shin-Noboribetsu Bridge began in 1979 and required an investment of 2.4 billion yen before its completion in October 1986.

The bridge serves as a gateway to the Noboribetsu area, connecting the coastal regions of Muroran with the inland territories through Route 782.

Visitors can access the free parking area and observation deck on the western side of the bridge to view the structure and the Pacific Ocean.

The bridge features an inverse Lohse design where the arch structure remains invisible from the road surface above.
