宮尾登美子文学記念館

Established on April 23, 2005, the museum preserves the legacy of Miyao Tomiko, who wrote extensively about Japanese society from 1950 to 2014.

The museum contains original drafts of notable works like 'Kaji' and 'Ichigen no Koto', which earned recognition through the Dazai Osamu Prize.

The collection includes documentation of Miyao's seven-year period of financial hardship, during which she continued writing while supporting her family.
