Mount Kamegamori

Mount Kamegamori is a mountain summit in Ehime Prefecture reaching 1,897 meters (6,223 feet) with steep terrain covered in dense forests. The slopes feature natural trails that wind through woodland areas, though established routes are limited.

The peak received its name from the local population during the early development of the Saijō region. The name reflects the forested character of the mountain.

Japanese mountaineers include Mount Kamegamori in the list of notable peaks for climbing challenges, reflecting the national appreciation for mountain exploration.

The route lacks clear markings and few facilities exist, so good navigation skills and proper equipment are essential. Visitors should prepare thoroughly and research local conditions before attempting the climb.
