Koshu yume-koji

The Koshu yume-koji features stone-paved alleys, small streams, and traditional buildings that represent architecture from the Meiji to early Showa periods.

This cultural district, inaugurated in March 2013, preserves the architectural elements of Kofu's castle town, reflecting the merchant lifestyle from the 1800s to 1900s.

The complex includes three galleries displaying antique jewelry collections from the 18th to 20th centuries and works by local artists in converted traditional storehouses.

Located three minutes east of Kofu Station North Exit, the district provides dedicated parking areas for cars, bicycles, and tourist buses at 1-1-25 Marunouchi.

The district combines traditional crafts shops, art museums, and restaurants serving local Yamanashi ingredients, with Koshu wine and seasonal fruit specialties.
