Tokachi Hills

Tokachi Hills spans five hectares of land featuring stone paths, sculpted trees, and gardens containing more than 800 roses of 35 different varieties.

The establishment of this recreational space in April 2009 marks a significant development in Hokkaido's tourism infrastructure and garden design initiatives.

The gardens incorporate English landscape design principles while integrating Japanese elements such as cherry blossoms that bloom during the Golden Week celebrations.

The facility operates from late April through mid-October, with daily opening hours from 9 AM to 5 PM and entrance fees ranging between 300 and 700 yen.

A pond within the park creates a natural habitat where water lilies grow alongside willow trees, supporting local dragonfly populations.
