Midorigaoka Park

Midorigaoka Park is a large urban park in central Obihiro featuring walking trails, a pond, and open green spaces for strolling and relaxing. The park also includes art installations, open lawns, and quiet areas for various recreational activities.

The park was founded in 1929 and has developed into a major public gathering space in the city. It is recognized as one of the 100 most important historical parks in Japan.

The park is located about 18 minutes from Obihiro Station and has eight parking areas scattered throughout the grounds. Access is free around the clock, and there are various routes for different exploration preferences.

The park has a pond where visitors can rent rowboats, and there is a park golf course on the grounds. These activities are popular with local residents and offer a different way to enjoy the space.
