Midorigaoka Park

Midorigaoka Park spans 50 hectares in central Obihiro, featuring walking trails, a pond, sculptures, and extensive green spaces with a 400-meter bench.

Established in 1929, this park has evolved into a central recreational space and stands among the 100 Best Historical Parks in Japan.

The park contains the Obihiro Centennial Hall, which functions as a museum and gallery presenting local historical artifacts and exhibitions.

Located 18 minutes from Obihiro Station, the park maintains eight parking areas and remains open 24 hours daily with free admission.

The park includes a pond where visitors can rent rowboats, and features a park golf course frequently used by local residents.
