巖浄閣, Historical educational structure in Nanto, Japan
Ganjoukaku stands as a two-story wooden Colonial structure with pink exterior walls, serving as a prominent educational landmark in Toyama Prefecture.
The building, constructed at the beginning of the 20th century, functioned as the main hall of the former Toyama Prefectural Agricultural School.
The structure incorporates traditional Japanese architectural elements while maintaining Colonial design principles, representing a fusion of Eastern and Western building styles.
Located six minutes from Fukuno Station on the JR Johana Line, the building opens for visits between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on weekdays.
In 1910, Crown Prince Yoshihito, who later became Emperor Taisho, utilized this building during his visit to the Toyama Prefecture.
