大阪三菱ビルディング, Commercial office tower in Dojima district, Osaka, Japan
The Osaka Mitsubishi Building was an office tower in the Dojima district with 15 floors above ground and 4 basement levels. The structure reached about 67 meters in height and provided roughly 37,000 square meters of office space.
The building stood from 1969 to 2020 and served as a regional headquarters for the Mitsubishi Group. It was later demolished to make way for a new taller tower development.
The building was part of Osaka's financial district and showed how major Japanese corporations organized their office spaces. It reflected the modern corporate identity of the region.
The building was located near Oebashi and Yodoyabashi stations, making public transportation access convenient. Its central position near Dojima River provided good connections to other parts of the city.
The building was designed by Mitsubishi Estate and constructed by Obayashi Corporation, two major Japanese companies. Its demolition in 2020 marked the end of an era for this well-known location in Osaka.
