大阪三井物産ビル, Corporate skyscraper in Kita-ku, Japan.
The Osaka Mitsui Bussan Building is a corporate high-rise in the Nakanoshima district with 23 above-ground floors and 4 basement levels reaching 105 meters tall. The interior features open office spaces without support columns, giving each floor flexible working areas.
The building was designed by Nikken Sekkei and completed by Takenaka Corporation in 2000, marking a turning point in the development of Osaka's business district. Its completion spurred further growth and investment in the surrounding area.
The building exemplifies Japanese corporate architecture with its pillarless office spaces measuring 2,800mm in ceiling height across each standard floor.
The building sits three minutes walk from Higobashi Station on the Osaka Metro Yotsubashi Line, making it easy to reach by public transport. Fourteen elevators and ample parking facilities make it simple to navigate and access the property.
The structure sits nestled between two rivers - the Dojima River flows to the north and the Tosabori River to the south. This location offers dual waterfront views and creates an unusual setting within the city.
