Nakanoshima Festival Tower

Nakanoshima Festival Tower is a 200-meter (656 ft) tall twin-tower complex with 39 floors housing offices, shops, and dining venues. The structure integrates a concert hall at its base, making it both a commercial and cultural hub in the district.

The tower opened in 2012 and introduced advanced seismic design techniques to protect buildings in this earthquake-prone region. This project transformed Nakanoshima into a modern district combining commerce with arts and culture.

The Festival Hall hosts regular performances that draw music lovers and theater audiences from across the region. It has become a gathering place where people experience both classical concerts and contemporary shows.

The complex is easy to reach via public transit, with direct connections to multiple subway stations nearby. The surrounding area is pedestrian-friendly and offers plenty of shops, cafes, and public spaces to explore at your own pace.

A public street runs between the two towers, a rare design choice that keeps the complex open to the neighborhood. This layout allows people to walk freely through the structure rather than around it, creating an unusual urban experience.
