大江ビルヂング, Historical office building in Kita district, Japan
The Oe Building features a combination of Renaissance and Neoclassical architectural styles with geometric patterns and distinctive bronze rain gutters along its facade.
Constructed in 1921 by lawyer Oe, this five-story reinforced concrete building initially served as office spaces for legal professionals near the Osaka High Court.
The first floor and basement maintain original marble staircases with wooden handrails, representing architectural elements from the Taisho period modernism movement.
Located at 2-8-1 Nishi-Tenma, the building stands within walking distance of Oebashi Station, Yodoyabashi Station, and Kitashinchi Station in Osaka.
The basement level houses both contemporary boutiques and traditional barbershops, while upper floors continue to host numerous law offices since its inception.
