Hiroshima Dog Park

Hiroshima Dog Park is an outdoor facility with separate zones for different dog sizes spread across multiple acres. Each area features open play spaces, obstacle courses, water pools, and areas for specialized training activities.

This facility was created to meet the growing need for dedicated dog recreation spaces as pet ownership increased in Japan in recent decades. The concept developed from recognizing that urban areas required organized environments for dogs to exercise and socialize.

Dogs hold a special place in the daily lives of visitors here, with the park serving as a gathering spot where owners connect with one another while their pets play together.

All visiting dogs must be vaccinated and bring proof of this to ensure health and safety throughout the park. Separate areas for small and large breeds allow owners to choose the most suitable zone for their pet.

At certain times of year the park holds dog festivals where pets wear colorful costumes while participating in games and competitions. These events draw visitors who want to bring their dogs together with others in a festive setting.
