Naritasan Kurume Bunin, Buddhist temple in Kurume, Japan.
The temple features a 62-meter-tall concrete Kannon statue with a spiral staircase inside, leading to an observation point and an underground tunnel.
Established in 1958 as a branch of Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple from Chiba Prefecture, the temple was built to pacify spirits at the adjacent Urayama burial mound.
The temple contains 300 Buddha statues carved in India, using stones from the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodh Gaya, housed within the 38-meter Peace Buddha Tower.
The temple entrance fee costs 500 yen for adults, 300 yen for secondary school students, and 100 yen for elementary school children.
The Kannon statue incorporates eighteen 3-carat diamonds on its forehead, crystal on its chest, and carries a 13-meter-long infant figure in its arms.
