Emil Bernhardt tenement in Bydgoszcz, Eclectic house on Gdańska Street in Bydgoszcz, Poland.

The Emil Bernhardt tenement displays Italian Renaissance-inspired architectural elements across its five-story facade with decorative sculptures and columns.

Built between 1882 and 1884 by master mason Carl Stampehl, the building initially contained apartments on upper floors and commercial spaces at street level.

The structure housed the first ophthalmology office in Bydgoszcz in 1888 and later became home to the popular Wiener Café during the 1920s.

Located at 16 Gdańska Street, the tenement maintains its original horseshoe shape design, which creates an interior courtyard with additional residential space.

The building features preserved polychrome wall coverings and served as headquarters for multiple financial institutions, including Deutsche Bank and the Agrarian Bank.
