The five-story eclectic building features neobaroque elements and displays a large eagle sculpture on its substantial stone facade at street level.
Built in 1896 under Emil Bernhardt's commission, the hotel operated under different names including Hotel Adler until 1919 and Danziger Hof during World War II.
The hotel became a central meeting point for artists and politicians, with past guests including pianist Arthur Rubinstein and composer Krzysztof Penderecki.
The establishment contains 75 accommodations, divided between 39 single rooms, 32 double rooms, and 4 luxury apartments with modern amenities.
The interior preserves Art Nouveau designs from the 1890s, combining historical architectural elements with contemporary hospitality standards.
