Poor Clares' Church, Gothic brick church on Gdańska Street, Bydgoszcz, Poland.
The church displays a tall tower with baroque spire, decorated wooden ceiling, and robust chancel vaults forming an architectural ensemble on Gdańska Street.
Construction of the brick temple started in 1582, replacing a wooden church-hospital from 1448, and was officially transferred to Poor Clares sisters in 1615.
The interior features a polychromatic coffered ceiling and religious artworks, including an image of St Stanislaus Kostka by Leon Wyczółkowski.
The church stands near Kazimierz Wielki Park and offers regular religious services under the care of Warsaw Capuchins since 1997.
Between 1835 and 1920, the building served multiple non-religious functions, including a warehouse, fire station, and the first museum in Bydgoszcz.
