Hala Krupowa, Mountain pasture in Pasmo Policy range, Poland
The wooden PTTK mountain shelter at Hala Krupowa stands at the intersection of multiple hiking trails through the Beskid Żywiecki mountains.
The pasture marks the location of former agricultural activities and shepherding traditions that extended to higher elevations during periods of population growth in Podhale.
The mountain lodge hosts the Mountain Tourist Gathering every first Sunday of October, marking the conclusion of the summer hiking season.
The shelter provides accommodation, dining facilities for 30 people, maps, hiking equipment, and maintains a Mountain Volunteer Rescue Service base.
Granite markers along the trails indicate the historical border between Germany and Slovakia, including the former smuggling route known as the Tobacco Path.
