The Geslerovsky Bridge extends 22.2 meters across the Karpovka River, measuring 27 meters in width to accommodate vehicles and pedestrians.
The structure began as a wooden crossing in 1887 and underwent a complete transformation in 1965, when engineers replaced it with reinforced concrete.
The bridge carries the name of Ivan Fyodorovich Gesler, who served as garderobe meister during Paul I's reign in Saint Petersburg.
The bridge features an asphalt road surface and sand asphalt sidewalks, separated by granite kerb stones for pedestrian safety.
Iron railings line the sides of the bridge, while granite stair descents decorate the approaches to this concrete structure.
