Starik-Kamen

Starik-Kamen is a protected mountain summit reaching 638 meters, located in the northern section of the Ural Mountains with distinctive rock formations visible across its slopes. The peak displays layered geological features that reveal the mountain's age and geological development.

The mountain gained protected status during the Soviet period as conservation efforts expanded across the Sverdlovsk Oblast region. This early recognition of the Urals' natural value influenced how other landscapes in the area were managed and preserved.
