Local residents of different ethnicities refer to these formations by various names, including Ете Ағай һәм Бер Һеңле and Семь Братьев и Одна Сестра.

The geological formations consist of seven closely positioned rocks representing brothers, with an eighth rock positioned separately, symbolizing their sister.
