NTUC Downtown East, entertainment and dining venue in Singapore
NTUC Downtown East is an amusement and leisure complex in the Pasir Ris area of Singapore. The site brings together a water park, dining outlets, retail shops, sports facilities, and event spaces all in one open area.
The site opened in 1988 under the name NTUC Pasir Ris Resort, run by NTUC Club, the leisure arm of the National Trades Union Congress. Around 2018, a major redevelopment transformed the area into its current form, with new attractions and a resort added.
The complex is a short walk from Pasir Ris MRT station, making it easy to reach by public transport or by car. Weekdays tend to be less crowded than weekends, especially at the water park.
Wild Wild Wet, the water park on site, is recognized as one of the largest of its kind in Asia, and it sits right next to D'Resort where guests can stay overnight. This means visitors can spend a full day on the water slides and sleep just steps away from the park.
