Altınpark, Public park in Altındağ, Turkey
Altınpark extends across 640,000 square meters, with 85 percent dedicated to green spaces and an artificial lake spanning 32,700 square meters.
The land served as a golf club until 1977, when the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality transformed it into a public recreational space through a design competition in 1985.
The Feza Gürsey Science Center within the park introduces children to scientific principles through interactive exhibits and educational programs throughout the year.
The park contains multiple restaurants, an Olympic swimming pool, pedal boats, electric cars, mini trains, and numerous entertainment zones for visitors of all ages.
The park maintains 211,160 square meters of green space and includes a specialized area of 9,302 square meters dedicated to flower beds and plant sales.
