新埔陳氏宗祠

The Chen family built this ancestral hall in 1868 as the region was becoming established under Hakka settlers. Its construction occurred during a period when Xinpu was developing into an important trade center.

The hall serves as a gathering space where the Chen family conducts ceremonies and ancestor veneration following Hakka traditions. It houses documents that show how these customs have been passed down through generations.
