Lianhua Temple

Lianhua Temple is a Buddhist temple complex featuring traditional Chinese architecture in Shixing Village in northwestern Taiwan. The buildings display detailed stone carvings on walls and pillars, with windows and doorways decorated in fine geometric and floral patterns.

The temple was founded in 1878 during the late Qing Dynasty, a period when Buddhism was expanding throughout the Hsinchu region. This founding period coincided with a phase of religious construction that shaped Taiwan's spiritual landscape.
