Grand Exposition Coaster, Steel roller coaster at Silver Dollar City in Branson, United States.
The Grand Exposition Coaster is a steel ride spanning approximately 280 feet of track and reaching 13 feet high, with a single train carrying 12 riders through gentle curves and spiraling sections. The roughly two-minute journey includes small lifts and repeated spiral patterns that create a rolling motion throughout the entire route.
The ride opened in April 2006 as part of a major park expansion focused on children's attractions. It replaced a previous coaster called the Runaway Ore Cart.
The ride serves as an introduction to thrill experiences for families visiting together. It shows how the park welcomes younger riders into its world of motion and excitement.
Children who are at least 42 inches tall can ride alone, while those measuring 36 inches need an adult companion. The ride closes when outdoor temperatures drop below 42 degrees Fahrenheit.
The track design features a triple-spiral pattern that creates three complete spiral ascents during each ride. This repeated spiral element is uncommon for rides designed primarily for children.
