Ozark Wildcat, Wooden roller coaster at Celebration City, Branson, United States.
Ozark Wildcat was a wooden roller coaster located at Celebration City in Branson. The ride featured a twisting wooden track layout that carried riders through multiple turns and drops along its entire course.
Great Coasters International constructed the ride, which opened in May 2003 when the park launched. The attraction operated for about five years until Celebration City closed permanently in October 2008.
The roller coaster ranked among the top wooden coasters in the Golden Ticket Awards, reaching its highest position at number 16 during its operational period.
Two separate trains with twelve cars each carried riders through the course during operation. Automatic safety restraints secured passengers throughout the ride and released when returning to the loading area.
After the park closed, the trains were not scrapped but given a second life elsewhere. They were relocated and now operate on the Thunderhead roller coaster at Dollywood in Tennessee.
