Silver Dollar City, Amusement park in Branson, United States
This theme park extends across the Ozark hills and offers 40 rides and attractions alongside 18 restaurants serving regional food. The grounds sit above Marvel Cave and spread across several levels along wooded slopes.
The park opened in 1960 above Marvel Cave, which had been drawing visitors since the 1800s. The cave later received National Landmark status and remains accessible for guided visits.
More than 100 craftspeople work on-site and show visitors old techniques such as glass blowing, pottery, blacksmithing, and blade forging. The demonstrations take place throughout the day in different workshops and invite guests to watch.
The grounds offer shuttle services from parking areas and reserved sections for buses. Groups of 15 or more can benefit from special rates.
The site hosts 40 daily live performances across different venues, including musical acts, comedy, and seasonal entertainment programs. The stages are distributed throughout the grounds and allow multiple visits in one day.

Each park develops its own identity: PortAventura World in Spain features three distinct parks on its Salou site, Efteling in the Netherlands dedicates 200 hectares to fairy tales, while Puy du Fou in France tells history through large-scale shows. Visitors can enjoy roller coasters, themed zones, shows, and attractions suitable for different audiences.
