Williams Club
The Williams Club is a private membership club in Midtown Manhattan at 30 West 44th Street, where graduates and those connected to Williams College gather. The building houses overnight rooms, restaurants, a fitness center, a library, and conference rooms for various events and meetings.
The club was founded in 1913 by Williams College alumni and originally operated from Madison Avenue. After financial challenges in 2010, it shared spaces with other clubs before moving to the Penn Club in 2022, where it continues its traditions today.
The Williams Club takes its name from Williams College and serves as a gathering place for graduates and those connected to the school. People with shared academic roots meet here to maintain friendships and keep their college connection alive.
The club sits centrally in Midtown Manhattan near Grand Central Terminal, Times Square, and various theaters and shops, making it easy to reach. Members can reserve rooms online up to a year in advance and have access to free wifi throughout the building.
The club network gives members access to over 150 partner clubs worldwide, from Boston to Japan, with bookings managed through the Penn Club app. This global connection lets alumni maintain their college community while traveling.
