Woodmen of the World Building, Renaissance skyscraper in Omaha, United States

The nineteen-story structure at 1323 Farnam Street featured pink granite and terracotta exterior decorations, reaching a height of 242 feet.

The Woodmen of the World Building, constructed in 1912, remained the tallest structure between Chicago and the West Coast until its demolition in 1977.

The building represented the growth of insurance companies in the Midwest, serving as the headquarters for the Woodmen of the World organization until 1934.

Six elevators provided access to the upper floors, while a motor-operated revolving door led into a lobby with 30-foot ceilings.

Before its demolition, the organization commissioned a new 30-story tower, which maintained peregrine falcon nesting sites on its 28th floor.
