The Beacon on Chestnut rises 44 floors into the St. Louis skyline, making it a prominent structure in the Missouri commercial district.

Constructed in 1986 as the Southwestern Bell headquarters, the building later underwent multiple name changes through corporate mergers until becoming the AT&T Center.

The 587-foot skyscraper represents the evolution of St. Louis commercial architecture, standing as a testament to the city's business development.

The structure contains 24 elevators and encompasses 1.4 million square feet of space, making it the largest building by area in Missouri.

In 2022, the building sold for only $4.05 million, a fraction of its 2006 sale price of $205 million, marking a significant real estate value shift.
