The Syndicate, Historic commercial building in downtown St. Louis, United States
The Syndicate Trust Building stands 17 stories tall at 915 Olive Street, featuring detailed terra cotta ornamentation from ground level to cornice.
Built in 1907 in Chicago School style by architect Harry Roach, the structure housed the Scruggs-Vandervoort-Barney department store until 1967.
The building represents early 20th-century architectural development in St. Louis and received National Register of Historic Places designation in 2002.
The structure contains 94 condominiums and 84 apartments, with a grocery store and pharmacy occupying the street level retail spaces.
Following extensive renovation between 2006 and 2008, the building transformed from an empty commercial space into a residential complex with 172 units.
