Citygarden spans over 2.9 acres of urban landscape, featuring contemporary sculptures, water elements, and natural gardens across an interactive outdoor space.
The Gateway Foundation initiated this public space in 2009 as part of a comprehensive downtown revitalization project, transforming an empty plot into an art destination.
Twenty-four permanent outdoor sculptures from international artists occupy specific locations throughout the park, creating an open-air museum in the urban center.
The park offers free access between 8th and 10th Streets, with metered parking spots available on 8th Street near the corner of Chestnut Street.
Interactive water features, including the Spray Plaza and Voyage Pool, allow children to play among art installations during the summer months.
