Hershey's Chocolate World

Hershey's Chocolate World is a two-story museum in Hershey, Pennsylvania, dedicated to chocolate making. The complex combines exhibition spaces with stations where visitors can assemble their own confections.

The founder opened this location in 1973 to give visitors insight into his production facilities. The site developed from a former factory that was converted into an experience center.

The attraction carries the founder's name and shows how chocolate making became part of Pennsylvania's local identity. Visitors experience the process from cacao to finished bar through guided tours that show how the facility operates.

The main hall allows free entry while individual attractions require tickets available onsite or through the internet. Some areas allow assembling personal products and require extra time for processing and pickup.

At one station guests select ingredients for personal bars and design the wrapper before accompanying their creation through a small production line. The finished product is given for takeaway later.
