Mini-Comet, Steel roller coaster in Hersheypark, United States.

Mini-Comet is a steel roller coaster at Hersheypark with an oval track that features consecutive small hills, completing five loops around the course during each ride cycle. The ride carries ten passengers per train with two riders per row, and it was designed specifically for young guests.

The ride operated originally from 1974 to 1978 and was later purchased at a public sale before being relocated to Kissing Tower Hill in 1976. After this move, operations continued until its eventual closure.

The Mini-Comet was a children's ride that changed how Hersheypark thought about its attractions in the 1970s, showing how amusement parks began expanding options for young visitors. The ride opened the park to a new group of guests and helped make it a friendlier place for families with smaller children.

The course is simple to follow since the small oval track is clearly visible from ground level and visitors can easily see the entire ride operation. Access is straightforward, and children should be comfortable with an adult to meet the safety requirements.

The ride stood out for its unusual color combination, featuring a red track with blue train cars that created a distinctive look throughout the park. This color scheme made it easy for guests to spot the ride from a distance.
