Wildcat’s Revenge, Wooden roller coaster at Hersheypark, Pennsylvania, United States
Wildcat's Revenge is a wooden roller coaster at Hersheypark, Pennsylvania, United States, that combines wooden framework with steel tracks. The ride reaches a height of 140 feet (43 meters) and a speed of 62 miles per hour (100 kilometers per hour) over a course of 3510 feet (1070 meters).
An earlier roller coaster with the same name operated in the park from 1923 to 1946, followed by a second version between 1996 and 2022. The current installation opened after transforming the second version and retained parts of the original wooden structure.
The name recalls an earlier ride and connects the park's past with a modern experience. Visitors see the wooden framework from many areas and can experience the four inversions during the ride.
Visitors should secure loose items before the ride, as fast movements and inversions can dislodge them. People using wheelchairs must transfer for the ride, and some physical conditions may prevent participation.
The installation features a special underflip inversion that combines an 82-degree drop with a simultaneous rotating motion. This section is considered the largest underflip inversion on a wooden roller coaster worldwide.
