Candymonium, Steel roller coaster in Hershey, United States
Candymonium is a steel coaster in Hersheypark, Pennsylvania, that extends 4636 feet (1413 meters) and includes seven camelback hills. The ride reaches 76 miles per hour (122 kilometers per hour) and begins with a 210-foot (64-meter) lift.
The coaster opened in July 2020 and was the 15th installation of its kind at Hersheypark at that time. Manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard set new benchmarks for height and speed in the park with this addition.
Three trains carry the colors of Hershey's Reese's, Kisses, and Twizzlers products, linking the ride to the chocolate factory's offerings. The orange, blue, and red designs show visitors at a glance which candies are made in the park.
Riders must be at least 54 inches (137 centimeters) tall to board, and the journey lasts about 2 minutes and 26 seconds. The course offers several airtime moments when seats create weightlessness during descents.
The final curve circles around the Kisses Fountain, creating a visual centerpiece in the Hershey's Chocolatetown area. This layout connects the ride with the central fountain of the park section.
