Hersheypark Arena stands as a multi-purpose indoor facility with a seating capacity of 7,286 for hockey events and additional standing room for 8,000 spectators.

The arena opened in 1936 and served as the home venue for the Hershey Bears hockey team until 2002, marking 66 years of professional sports history.

On March 2, 1962, basketball legend Wilt Chamberlain achieved his historic 100-point game against the New York Knicks in this venue.

The facility maintains regular public ice skating sessions during fall and winter months, offering recreational opportunities for local residents and visitors.

At the time of its construction, the arena held the distinction of being the largest monolithic structure in the United States.
