Shorefront Park

Shorefront Park is a waterfront recreation area stretching along Smith Street with views of Patchogue Bay and the water beyond. The grounds feature basketball courts, baseball diamonds, walking paths, and a pirate-themed playground for families.

Patchogue Village undertook major renovations in 2007, replacing the original bandshell with a modern structure to better serve the community. This upgrade transformed the park into a more functional gathering space for residents and visitors.

The park hosts the Great South Bay Music Festival, drawing music lovers to enjoy performances in an outdoor setting by the bay. The waterfront bandshell serves as a gathering place for the community throughout the year.

The park provides restrooms, water fountains, and dedicated parking throughout the grounds for visitor convenience. The layout is straightforward and makes it easy to navigate between different activity areas.

The park features a Living Shoreline project that replaces traditional bulkhead with natural materials to prevent erosion and flooding. This approach restores habitat while protecting the area during storms and high water events.
